From the start, Alien: Covenant slowly edges towards what we anticipate the movie will reveal and then once it does, its chaotic pacing and intense story doesn’t let up. It wreaks havoc with the gore and could be rebranded as a slasher/sci fi.

Michael Fassbender is a stand out and remarkable in his roles as David and Walter with Katherine Waterston the only other actor in the cast that seems to match his output. The technical brilliance behind the Fassbender scenes where his two characters interact are flawless and engross you, making you believe that there truly are two Michael Fassbenders.

The brilliant cinematography and vistas captured in film are only let down by some below par CG in some sections. Gladly we see the return of the Xenomorph alien and we are reminded of how destructive and frightening this creature is. If you are a fan of the classic Alien films, then you need to see Alien: Covenant.
